Uptalent operates as an intermediary, facilitating introductions between U.S. companies and vetted international independent contractors, primarily based in Latin America, who provide remote drafting and design support under the client’s direction.
Unlike traditional local hiring processes that can take one to four months, Uptalent facilitates access to qualified independent contractors in as little as a few days by leveraging an existing, pre-vetted contractor network.
Uptalent does not operate as an employer, staffing agency, or professional services firm. Instead, we act as an intermediary that streamlines the sourcing and evaluation process, allowing clients to review and engage contractors directly without upfront recruiting fees or long-term placement commitments. Uptalent does not supervise, manage, or control how services are performed.
By combining speed, transparency, and flexibility while avoiding the overhead of traditional hiring models, Uptalent enables clients to build remote support capacity efficiently while retaining full control over scope, supervision, and deliverables.

Uptalent primarily facilitates month-to-month engagement structures between clients and independent contractors, offering flexibility for evolving workloads and project needs.
Clients may explore part-time or full-time monthly engagement arrangements and adjust hours or scope over time, subject to mutual agreement between the client and the contractor.
In certain situations, alternative formats such as hourly or project-based engagements may be considered when they better align with the client’s objectives. Uptalent does not define working schedules, methods, or performance standards and does not participate in the delivery of services.
Working with Uptalent follows a simple introduction process.
You begin by sharing your general requirements and the type of support you are seeking. Uptalent then introduces a short list of independent contractor profiles that may align with those criteria, typically within one week. Clients generally receive three to five profiles to review, including background information and portfolios where available.
You may interview any contractors of interest directly and decide whether to engage one or more contractors. All selection and engagement decisions are made solely by the client.
Receiving profiles and conducting interviews involves no upfront fees. If you decide not to move forward with any contractor, no payment is due.

In most cases, clients receive profiles of at least three qualified independent contractors within approximately one week of starting the conversation. Final timelines may vary and depend on the client’s interview process, internal review, and onboarding preferences.
Cost Efficiency: Engaging international independent contractors may result in meaningful cost savings compared to traditional local hiring, without sacrificing relevant experience.
Structured Screening: Uptalent maintains a network of independent contractors who have undergone structured screening focused on skills, experience, communication, and portfolio review. This screening is intended to support client evaluation during the introduction process and does not replace client supervision, direction, or responsibility.
Relevant Experience: Many contractors in the network have experience supporting U.S.-based teams and collaborating across U.S. time zones.
Flexible Engagements: Month-to-month arrangements allow clients to scale support up or down based on workload, subject to agreement with the contractor.
Transparent Structure: Clients review contractor profiles at no cost and only proceed if there is a mutual fit.
Receiving profiles and interviewing independent contractors introduced through Uptalent involves no upfront fees.
If you choose not to proceed with any contractor, there is no obligation or cost associated with the introduction.

Uptalent applies a structured screening process to independent contractors, primarily located outside the United States, before they are introduced through our network. This process may include interviews, skills assessments, portfolio reviews, and evaluation of communication and professional background.
The purpose of this process is to curate a network of contractors with relevant experience and the ability to collaborate effectively with U.S.-based teams. Final selection decisions are always made by the client. Uptalent does not certify contractors’ work, compliance, or suitability for any specific regulated or licensed activity.
If this approach aligns with what you’re looking for, the next step is a brief introductory call. Would you like to review a few independent contractor profiles?
If a client determines that an engagement is not meeting expectations, Uptalent may, upon request and subject to availability, introduce alternative independent contractor profiles for the client to evaluate.
Uptalent does not guarantee outcomes or performance and does not supervise or manage contractor work. Introducing alternative profiles does not constitute acceptance of responsibility for prior work or outcomes. Any engagement decisions remain solely between the client and the contractor.

Remote engagement models allow companies to access a broader pool of qualified professionals beyond their immediate geographic area.
This approach may reduce costs associated with office space, local hiring constraints, and long-term employment commitments. It also enables teams to scale support more flexibly based on project demands.
Many organizations also value the diversity of experience and perspectives that remote collaboration can offer.
